Great model DPP-2 percolator from Cory Corporation. 4 to 10 cups with the water levels marked. Its very high grade aluminum that is chromed for a great look. So why is it a bargain? Because the mild-strong adjuster does not work anymore. It perks to a perfect 190 degrees F but I could not get the adjuster to work anymore so its always 190 degrees. It has a built in ceramic heater to keep warm after the brew and a pilot light comes on when its done perking. Very nice looking pot and the perk makes great coffee.
Except for the adjuster, its heavy duty and will last almost forever. Just keep it clean (I will tell you how and send an instruction).
Cory did not make this themselves, it really looks like it was probably made by GE. It has many GE type features in the working portion and the type of aluminum and chroming screams GE.

Is it safe?
It will be as safe or safer than the original manufacturer when it was made. Many times it is safer since I remove and replace asbestos wiring and unsafe cords. Note: There are some items I no longer refurbish because they cannot be made safe. I check every item for stray voltage and many times it is too high so that unit is scrapped.
What does Restored and Rebuilt Mean?
It means its been re-wired with modern high heat resistant wire, thermostats re-set, gunk, grease, stains have been removed. Restored to original factory specifications. Cords and wiring safe. All components checked for safety. Everything back to very good to mint condition nothing less.
