Completely restored. First percolator S.W. Farber made after the war. They used Stainless Steel and a thermostat that they made themselves. This is the first SS model percolator and the first time Farberware used a thermostat Patent issues in the 30's). All stainless steel body and lid. (Slight owie on the lid). They used the perk glass they had left from pre-war percolators (they must have stored them) so its pretty cool. They did not have the super-fast heater yet but this works pretty fast. This was made in NY, N.Y.. by SW Farber, was made to last and it will. It is all refurbished and ready to go another 20+ years!. All automatic, all nice and hot, all ready to make the great coffee. They had not perfected a SS basket yet so it is still aluminum but its nicely built and easy to use.
This was my first restore about 20 years ago and I have kept it until now. I only used it a few times and I went back over it a few days ago so its all in perfect order. Comes with a 6 foot new cord, instructions and cleaning brush.

Is it safe?
It will be as safe or safer than the original manufacturer when it was made. Many times it is safer since I remove and replace asbestos wiring and unsafe cords. Note: There are some items I no longer refurbish because they cannot be made safe. I check every item for stray voltage and many times it is too high so that unit is scrapped.
What does Restored and Rebuilt Mean?
It means its been re-wired with modern high heat resistant wire, thermostats re-set, gunk, grease, stains have been removed. Restored to original factory specifications. Cords and wiring safe. All components checked for safety. Everything back to very good to mint condition nothing less.

The perk coffee pot arrive sparkling clean and fully functionality with new cord, a excellent scrub brush to clean all the narrow bit, and even a special instruction book. Wonderful!
