1930s and Westinghouse was in its new plant in Mansfield, Ohio and making very well made appliances which also had very nice styling. This pot is almost identical in style to a Manning Bowman pot from the same era. I am almost thinking Westinghouse made the Manning Bowman pot since Westinghouse held almost all patents for heaters and pump systems. But anyway: This model PG-44A pot is typical Art-Deco. The interior nickel plating and exterior chrome plating are excellent. The lid has some surface marks which are not really scratches and do not go below the chrome coating but it is not as perfect as the sides of the pot. It makes 2 to 6 cups of fresh wonderful perked coffee like it was made to do. It does not have a thermostat so you unplug it when you want to stop the percolation (about 15 minutes for a full pot). The handle is black painted walnut. The round glass perk top is really cool. It is copper construction with nickel and chrome plating. The pump, stem and basket parts are aluminum. At only 350 watts it perks really well at such a low wattage. It has a fuse in case you do something that might allow it to heat too much, but there is also a spare fuse with instructions (its easy) to change it.
I have cleaned it up, re-did the wiring and fuse to make sure it is safe and working well. 350 watts, comes with 30 inch cord set, all instructions and cleaning aids.
10 inches tall, 10 inches spout to handle, 6 inches at widest and 4 inches diameter at base. Chromed copper construction, and aluminum stem, basket and spreader.

Is it safe?
It will be as safe or safer than the original manufacturer when it was made. Many times it is safer since I remove and replace asbestos wiring and unsafe cords. Note: There are some items I no longer refurbish because they cannot be made safe. I check every item for stray voltage and many times it is too high so that unit is scrapped.
What does Restored and Rebuilt Mean?
It means its been re-wired with modern high heat resistant wire, thermostats re-set, gunk, grease, stains have been removed. Restored to original factory specifications. Cords and wiring safe. All components checked for safety. Everything back to very good to mint condition nothing less.
