Refurbished Camfield Premier 1950's 4-8 Cup Percolator P-100 SKU 1071

Sorry, this item has sold.

This is the rare (very rare) one and only percolator Camfield (Grand Haven Mich.) ever made. The design was by Camfield design engineers but it was made for them by Landers, Frary and Clark in Connecticut. The design is super nice with the clear perk top molded with "Camfield Automatic". It even has built in finger holds to make it easy to remove for cleaning. Its only 400 watts but the percolation system works really well and the thermostat (mild to strong) is super adjustable. Mild is 130 degrees F and Strong is 210 degrees F. That is the largest range I have ever seen. Most percolated coffee is best perked out at 190 to 195 degrees F.
A ready light illuminates when the perk is completed. All automatic, it shuts off then keeps the coffee at the perfect serving temperature as long as you want. Heavy duty chrome plated copper. The inside is nickle plated. The pump, basket and diffuser are aluminum. The spout is positioned just right so you don't pour any grounds that escaped the basket. Water levels are indented inside at 4,5 6 7 and 8 cups. Its been thoroughly cleaned, re-adjusted and internals replaced. A wonderful pot that will last a life time! A good strong steady percolation that does not burn the coffee.
120 VAC, 400 watts, 10 1/2 inches tall, 9 inches from spout to handle and 5 1/4 inches diameter. 6 foot new cord, cleaning brush and full instructions included. Model P-100. All chromed copper except the pump and basket parts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Care instructions

All items come with complete use and care instructions.
All items come with cords.
All cords are either new or old style that have been tested and refurbished.

What are materials

Waffle grids are cast aluminum.
Toasters are metal
Coffee pots vary and I always tell you the materials.

How will I keep it working and will it work?

Everything I sell is refurbished and in like new working order.
If something goes wrong, I will fix it so its like a lifetime (mine LOL) warranty.

Is it safe?

It will be as safe or safer than the original manufacturer when it was made. Many times it is safer since I remove and replace asbestos wiring and unsafe cords. Note: There are some items I no longer refurbish because they cannot be made safe. I check every item for stray voltage and many times it is too high so that unit is scrapped.

What does Restored and Rebuilt Mean?

It means its been re-wired with modern high heat resistant wire, thermostats re-set, gunk, grease, stains have been removed. Restored to original factory specifications. Cords and wiring safe. All components checked for safety. Everything back to very good to mint condition nothing less.

Average:

I was looking for a percolator cause I don't like auto drip and all the ones on Amazon were made in China and many reviews said they broke down around a year. I came across this listing by chance, and became so intrigued by the idea of refurbishing already existing items. There are cheaper options available but the seller has no idea if the item is in good condition etc, so I feel better about spending a little more for a quality product. Item arrived quickly and was well packaged, some sellers don't pack their products right, but not the case here. He also was quick with communication. The percolator itself is beautiful, I feel it is something special, a collector piece for sure.
