Landers, Frary & Clark (Universal) made this beautiful all automatic electric percolator in Connecticut in the 1940s after the war was over. Graceful and non-drip spout, beautiful glass and well sculpted body. The metal work and electric work are superb. They even managed a temperature adjuster on the bottom which was a big innovation for the period. (They beat out Sunbeam and GE). I have completely refurbished this percolator and it is ready to work for many years. Its made of copper with chrome outside and nickel inside. The basket, pump and diffuser are aluminum. I give you full instructions for using and caring for this percolator along with a cleaning brush and a brand new cord set. They made them to last and this will last almost forever if you follow my instructions. It perks great, and can be used daily if you wish. The cord is 3 foot.

Is it safe?
It will be as safe or safer than the original manufacturer when it was made. Many times it is safer since I remove and replace asbestos wiring and unsafe cords. Note: There are some items I no longer refurbish because they cannot be made safe. I check every item for stray voltage and many times it is too high so that unit is scrapped.
What does Restored and Rebuilt Mean?
It means its been re-wired with modern high heat resistant wire, thermostats re-set, gunk, grease, stains have been removed. Restored to original factory specifications. Cords and wiring safe. All components checked for safety. Everything back to very good to mint condition nothing less.
